I started to do the same thing untill I called ebay and asked what happens if they open a case and want to return the item. You have to refund the full ammount they paid. IF you dont do free shipping you only have to refund the bid ammount not the shipping ammount. So be carefull on doing free shipping stuff.
Yes but on your return policy you have the choice of selecting seller pays return shipping or buyer pays return shipping. I have it as buyer pays return shipping. That way theres no incentive to return. Also by the way on a full refund the original shipping is also returned to the buyer. If you return the item cost only and not the shipping that is a partial refund. The full refund is the better option it shows the customer you put them first from square 1.
My policy is full refund within 30 days if unsatisfied for any reason, reguardless of whether i charged for shipping or it was included. Also the buyer always pays return shipping costs. If there is an error on my part like i shipped them the wrong item or it was damaged in shipping then i will also cover the return shipping costs.
