Somehow it always tastes better when you went out and caught it. Out here it's Dungeness Crab dipped in garlic butter and cold beers.

the del taco thats a u-turn away from sims metal! nothing like cashing out 102 dollars then buying a 2 dollar burrito after chilling in the weigh scale line for an hour
then i toss the foil and hpde#1 salsa cups in the back of my truck... napkins in the glovebox, to-go bag packs my weekday cold lunch

Well, folks, I love simmering some good ole italian spagetti sauce in a crock pot.. but first let it ferment the night before in a bowl.. with all the seasons and goodies.. and italian bits of sausage.. and good ole beef.. then whip up some noodles...
git me a big bowl... douse the bowl with a mighty helping of warming tangling noodles.. and then scoop up some scrumptous italian beef sauce and lay it on...
with a nice bottle of Guiness to go with it.. Oh yeah Baby.. and BTW NO PREGO in there.. its all HOME MADE.

The ingredients of a casserole can theoretically be separated into edible parts, but in practice I am more likely to leave it in the shred pile and order a pizza.
I try and buy food from small businesses,

I really miss the "chicken shacks" down in southeast Kansas. That had to be some of the best fried chicken around. Chicken Annie's and Chicken Mary's and they looked like a big pole barn put up out in the country, neither one on a state road but everyone knew where they were. You would order an order of onion rings and they brought them out on a platter, you always took some home.Originally Posted by jghilino

When I read scrappers dinner I thought of what I enjoy. It is not about the food but about how you eat it. My favorite is dinner is eating from dishes (nice) that came from freecycle. Fork and knife (quality silver plate ) bought a 25lb bucket that had a sterling ladle in it($52.00 sold) and watching tv on 32 inch flat screen (freecyle).

Beans and cornbread are my fave regardless of the money flow. Add some fried potatoes and slices of garden fresh tomato and I'm happy.
