owner runs the scale. owner pays cash, with odd dollar amounts paid in dollar coins

I give the laborer one of the coins, every time. it's just a token, but it's something. I'm very small potatoes, but I never have to wait for a bin.
If you are tipping for help unloading, i think that is acceptable. Especially if he owner is right there. He will make sure there is no funny business going on.
