I "tip" in the same form as others here, treats like food and hot/cold drinks, never alcohol other than at Christmas or special occasions like a wedding. The closest I come to giving cash is gift cards. You can sorta personalize those, which people enjoy. Someone who always drinks coffee? Easy, a Timmy's card. Someone with small kids? McD's. Or a nicer restaurant, whatever. Find out what people enjoy and use that.
It's been my experience that many bosses don't like you giving their staff cash, they see it as bribery (even if you don't intend it that way). I've never had anyone upset by giving out gift cards.
