    Judging from the pictures the frame needs to be stretched another 3 or 4 feet, too much overhang at the rear of the deck. As the truck is rigged out now most of the loaded weight would be on the rear axle.



    This truck is almost a clone of my last one, I could stack 3 cars on it, with a Hiab you do not need a winch just use the crane to pull stuff towards the truck for loading. Lay the boom down low, hook your chain short then lift straight up, once you have reached maximum height knuckle the jib in.

    Keep repeating this procedure until your wreck is close enough for loading.

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the pallet forks come with the truck, never owned a set before and always wished for a set. It would make dealing with batteries a snap by palletizing them.

    One time I loaded an old D6 caterpillar and could only lift one end at a time, had to put railway ties under the end lifted then do the same for the rear of the cat, once the cat was deck height worked it onto the deck. I earned my breakfast that morning.
