The truck is in Toronto, once the seller fax's me the vin number purchase a temporary permit from the motor vehicle branch in my Province. I plan to drive y pick up, once there find a loading dock to drive mine onto the deck for the trip home. I may have to purchase a loaded permit from any scale located on route to cover the weight of the load - my truck.

As for the short wheelbase, I could cut and weld in a section which gets pretty involved with drive shafts, brake lines and wiring which I've done in the past successfully., this time however I'm going to strip the body off of the bus below then transfer the cab, deck and crane over.

I'll have to use the fuel tanks from the cab truck, they're called step tanks. Have built in inserts as steps to assist the driver in mounting the truck.

I'll gain on this option, a weld free frame with heavier axles with air brakes and a nice air ride seat with lumbar support.

It amazes me how much knowledge, and know how, that you know. I am definitely surprised you don't own some big corporate company doing all of this stuff. You would make a fortune.

Nice idea, btw, on turning the buss into what the truck is right now.

George I was born a free spirit, why would I give that up for money. You can't take it with you and very few family business's teach their offspring to take the helm on their retirement or passing.

Old money looks after itself while new money is squandered, why would I work my ass off for such a fate.

My people come from old money but this was severed when my father left his homeland, I was raised with the new money attitude. spend it while your alive.

I was just saying but you are right.

I make what I consider good money just from scrapping but I like to save and only buy things when I need them
