Please don't lump all of us "scrappers on bikes " together. I go out on my bike in my own neighborhood daily as a scout for myself. If I see something big I go get my truck. Saves a lot of fuel.
I never rip apart anything. As a matter of fact I don't even touch their trash unless I see evidence of good scrap. And if I do accidentally make a mess getting something I clean it up and reorganize it if necessary.
