I just received the report for my last shipment. The freight charges ended up being 13.6 cents per pound. I consider that a bargain! While many people think I am crazy to ship power supplies, I received 30% more AFTER freight than I do at my local yard. Satisfied? Absolutely. Will I be sending more material? Yes. The only problem is waiting for the snow to melt and the mud to dry.

I sent two gaylords. The total weight of material was 2113 pounds. I dropped them off at the loading dock of the freight terminal within 30 miles of the house. If the weather wouldn't have been at -5 degrees I would have had another Gaylord to send. Unfortunately, I decided to stay warm rather than freeze while loading material.

Should I cut the gold connectors off the cords or just ship everything intact?

Just received payment today. I could not be more pleased with the entire transaction. Payment was even a bit more than I had expected! WILL DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN AND AGAIN! THANKS MARIO!

I find the paycheck for power supplies is better if I don't ship the steel box.

Huh. And this is where ''assuming'' something comes into play. If I remove the steel box from mine and sell them to my yard they downgrade it to computer board which they only pay 10 cents a lb for. I was like, are you serious?????

this is why I never sent any to EWasted, I didn't want to pay for the steel weight and it was never specified that you could remove it.

Of course, I never asked either! (assuming) came back to bite me!

I figure that box is in the "excess steel" category; just like the tower cabinet it was connected to. Nobody I know of is getting big pockets full of money from power supplies a few yards will pay same as electric motors, even without the wire. I don't have the yard option at all around here, they only want to pay steel for the whole thing, that is why I clean it up so it packs tight and heavy.Mario is a great guy to work with and he answers stupid questions too! If you don't ask you never know!

Yes, we are finding an abundance now of optical drive boards ending up in hard drive board mixes. Please keep them separated to avoid the charge.
    Thanks!

Sent a number of lots up this week, and I really have nothing good to say about my experience.

Nope, what I have to say is more like stupendous, superb, excellent, exemplary, magnificent, tip-top, world class, service and turn around.
OK, mayyyybe good would have said it all. But that, would have been a boring read!

Thanks, Mario and staff! Ya'll rock!

I am BroJer ... and I approve this message.

Question. Does ewasted have a drive up location or phone number. I'd rather drive and drop off for maximum learning before shipping which to me is like cooking. Very poor skills or drive . Ijs. Face to face is my choice. Bad choice ? Maybe not possible ? Thanks for input.

Never been there (to far for me) but all his contact info is on the website and from what I understand he prefers appointments when delivering the material in person........I only speak from what I have seen here on the web.........Remember they are a biz with m-f type hours (I think).....So if you email them on the weekend you might not get a response untill monday..........Good luck and you can't go wrong dealing with these guys

You can make an appointment to drop off in person. contact him through his website. You can try messaging him on here, but you get faster responses on his website. He can even recommend a good place for breakfast
