I can't say this is gonna happen everytime, but would expect a 2 day or less turn around from them. Great job by mario and his staff, and hope to do business with them again

Want to thank Mario and the staff for the SURPRISE turn around! Sent 5 boxes, just shy of 350lbs, up on Monday. Shoot, gotz the cha-ching already!! Really did not expect it, with the holiday and weather up there, this quick. Some of this is going into the BroJer road-trip fund! Need to drive a car out to Luke AFB, in Phoenix, for my daughter and son-in-law, so this helps me plan the budget!

Thanks, Mario, for all the answered questions and superb service, you and the crew provide, for all of us! Bro

Would it be more cost-effective to ship 1 big box or a bunch of smaller boxes?

The most cost effective, is to ship when you have 65-68lbs, per box. Stay under 70. I tend to cut it close, but I have matched my weight to those at Fedx often enough, to know I can get that close.

I sent a box to you guys in between holidays and you guys provided the quickest turn around I could have imagined. Almost as good as running my regular scrap to my favorite yard here. You were more than fair for prices, and your simple website makes it real easy to figure out things. On another positive note, your weights all added up to what I sent on the nose. I really do thank you, nowadays it can be a chore to find an honest business. I will definitely send you all of my computer scrap from here on out. Thanks again.

Is there any way you could start posting the prices of Li-ion and Ni-based batteries on the front page? I'm always getting them from my clients, and I feel like I'm wasting your time every time I email you for a quote. Thanks, and I'm working on getting another pallet or 2 ready to send out soon.

My review: customer service was excellent, as well as the turnaround, couldn't believe how fast I got my check( in the middle of christmas rush too). You guys run a fine organization and I want to thank you for your hard work. Sorry I'm so late on this.

If you contact support on Mario's website (cant think of her name) can give you any answers regarding pricing/grading that you might have. She is very knowledgeable and very polite. I also wanted to thank Mario and his staff for a quick turnaround with my last shipment. It was right before Thanksgiving. Top notch company and people.

Finally got my first shipment out and to no surprise the experience was as smooth and easy as the 2+ years worth of posts on this thread have said. Setup my login and all info on a Sunday night, got a reply early monday morning, got a shipping quote and was able to print out the labels that same morning, scheduled fedex pickup on Wednesday, packages arrived the next monday morning, processed within a couple hours, check sent out and showed up in my mailbox last friday. That's less than 9 days from the moment fedex picked up the boxes (which was after 7pm) to me having a check in hand.

This was my first escrap shipment and it was a learning experience. I sent 400 pounds and got a check for $670 after shipping, not bad considering most of it was from an auction I won for only $10!(although I did spend alot of time processing it all). 130 pounds of that was wiring though which skewed the average, take that out and it's closer to 270 pounds for about $640. What's even better is I was telling a work associate about it and they took me around back of their warehouse and showed me 2 large piles of electronics (printers, computers, cameras, etc.) and asked me if I knew how to get rid of it, of course I said that I would be more than happy to clean it all out for him, so hopefully it's not too long before I have another shipment ready for ewasted.

Having the breakdown was a great help too in learning about what I had. I just wish I could have been there in person to learn first hand, although I may be planning a trip back home to detroit in the near future and may just have to make a slight detour.

Thanks to ewasted and your crew for an excellent experience!

Just boxed up my first shipment to Ewasted. 50lbs of mixed material. I can not say enough for the online support lady who was very, very kind and helpful. My box will be shipped out via FedEx tomorrow, at a rate of half of what I had seen on the FexEx website. Very excited and happy to work with this team. Will update when this transaction is complete.

I find the paycheck for power supplies is better if I don't ship the steel box.

Huh. And this is where ''assuming'' something comes into play. If I remove the steel box from mine and sell them to my yard they downgrade it to computer board which they only pay 10 cents a lb for. I was like, are you serious?????

this is why I never sent any to EWasted, I didn't want to pay for the steel weight and it was never specified that you could remove it.

Of course, I never asked either! (assuming) came back to bite me!
