I made the trip (pre-arranged) to Cleveland from Cincinnati for a same day drop off/payout for about 1,100lbs of heavily sorted E-Scrap. I am extremely impressed with the legitimacy and efficiency of this operation. They are thorough, fare, and friendly. During their inspection of my shipment, they upgraded several of my items to a higher paying category. While I sat in their lobby, waiting for my payout, Mario made the extra effort, to come out and introduce himself to me. Being in sales for my real job, I was extremely impressed by that. First Class & Top Notch. I will most certainly be back. Thank you.

Keep it under 70 pounds or shipping goes up quite a bit, otherwise consider sending a gaylord/pallet of several hundreds pounds or more.

Hey Ewasted, Do you buy emproms and ic chips? What's your price on those and can they be broken? (I had arguments with some of the small ones coming off low grade boards...)

The rule seems to be if the ic/eprom is not soldered in place and can merely pulled then pull it. Ic/eproms also contain pm's so if you remove them it devalues the board and you would get paid far less.

So for me if its a plug-in type eprom/ic I pull it other wise I leave it alone. I'm sure Ewasted will get back with you soon but I believe I have the correct answer. Mike

I would agree with that. Unless your talking the real old boards where all the erpoms were not soldered in. If you depop those boards they usualy will be downgraded. Also I pull off all the eproms from low grade boards. Why get paid 15 cents a pound for them when you can get $6. I just use a hammer and 1 inch wood chisel and knock them off the low grade stuff.

After some consideration, I have decided to use more than one E-buyer. I had been squirrelling away my RAM and CPUs and a few other things, so based solely on price, I sent a shipment to Ewasted. He was great to work with, and turn around was pretty fast as well. He gets back to you pretty quick with answers to your questions as I have experienced with everyone else here as well. I like that he will send you a prepaid label and deduct it from the PO.

    Recommended.

FYI We had some major server issues... finally got them resolved late last night after 12+ hours of troubleshooting, trial and error, etc.

A tsunami of emails was blasted from our account to update people on their lots as it was backlogged a month!

Additionally I didnt receive alot of emails people sent, or support tickets.

We are happy to say everything is BACK ONLINE (until the next problem, gotta love technology)

    Julie,
Take a look at the weights you have, use our price sheet to price it out, add it all up. Then register your lot and send us an email and let us know you want a quote - quick and painless. I promise

I know e-waste is busy and having some server problems. I'm trying to research shipping costs but I can't find his address on his website. Can someone provide me the zipcode for him?

Just got the pay out for my last shipment of ewaste. Very fast turn around. This batch was a little complicated, lots of very similar looking cpu's. Just because they look similar does not make them the same for pay. I am thankful for the personal service given by ewasted and I learned from the experience. This is my fifth shipment and I am stil very happy and will continue for the forseeable future. Mike.

He is located in the Cleveland, Ohio area. It might be within driving distance for you. I would if I could and get the chance to learn from the guys there while dropping off a load. Mike.

I wanted to take a moment and highly recommend ewasted as a fantastic, honest source for buying e-scrap. I sent a shipment in a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire process, including the FedEx shipping label that was emailed to me. How easy! Shipping price ended up being more than acceptable for the weight.

Within a week, I was shipped, processed and paid via PayPal. What more can you ask for? What really impressed me was that there was one server board in the shipment of a bunch of motherboards, and they itemized it out and paid me properly for it! Other companies wouldn't have done that.

Five stars, and keep up the great work!

Ewasted definitely gets 5 stars out of 5. Shipping was fast and easy. From shipment day to check was only 7 days. A big pat on the back to them for the fast processing and fast payment. Thanks.
