You might want to let this new guy know he is welcome on here and if he has any questions he should go to certain threads or how to contact the person he apparently is looking to send material to without a condescending attitude or capital letters.

Sir Scrap A lot... although many enjoy your wit and quotes, you implied with the one you used here that the new guy was an idiot...If I interpreted it that way im sure he did also ...Come on guys your better than this

    Ewasted,

I did an on line survey for CFCS and one of the questions was about prices changing, what will the outcome be? Will you change prices as needed or are you going to go to a bi weekly or monthly price updated structure?

    Hello
We are looking to hold pricing for generally 2 weeks to a month at a time.

The customers we service prefer stability over pricing fluctuation.

The caveat is pricing is STILL subject to change at ANY time giving major market changes, or other reasons relating to how we price. I think the last three years on here are a good indication that we dont have to change pricing too often.

    Thanks!

About how long have some of you waited for a reply to a question emailed to cashforcomputerscrap ?
I have sent a few emails since early last week and have yet to get a reply.
The "online operator" on the website just keeps saying "please wait for a site operator to respond", I have checked every hour or so for the last six business days.

In reply to Clinchfield33 Usually same day next day by e mail , if online only a few minutes. Must have been bad timing. Leave a message with the online operator also and they respond quickly.
f you want to post your questions here and if we can help , we will. Most of these guys been around for some time and know all the ropes. Very good group here !

This is a little overdue. Sent my first shipment the Thursday before Memorial Day. 67lbs. 16 different categories. Box was received on the following Tuesday. Processed on Wed. Shipping was only $24.92 from the Cape, and a check for $189.44 arrived on Monday. Such a simple process, and a great company to deal with.

Diane, Either email them or during regular hours (8 to 5 I think) you can go here and down on the lower left it says "online chat" you can chat with them one on one. Cash for your Computer Scrap | Cash for Computer Scrap

Can you tell me how much you pay for those "fan boxes"- the boxes bolted into the corner of a PC that has wiring harnesses that feed the CD, DVD and Hard drives?
I've got about 40 lbs of them i'm getting ready to ship to you.
    Thanks!

If you're talking at the large metal box with the wires coming out that powers the computer (has a fan inside it, or occasionally bolted to the outside) they are called computer power supplies. They are on the price list under "COMPUTER/SERVER PARTS." Price varies if you cut off the wire...

Ok. I was just asking because when I searched for tape drives on google, old floppy drives came up.
