You know, living here in Northwest Arkansas I know quite a bit about Sam Walton. You know that he drove his old truck until he died. He had the cash to buy and sell everyone he came into contact with on a daily basis multiple times over. But nobody that didn't know him would have ever guessed that. He was a humble person and treated everyone he came across with respect. Even though if he wanted to, he could have been one of the biggest egotistical pricks this world has ever seen. It's not about the cash in your account, the clothes on your back, or even in the car you drive. It's all about how you carry yourself, and treat other people. Be respectful and humble and you will only be surrounded by quality people. True story.
I can't imagine he's very happy about how his legacy has turned out. And it speaks alot for how inappropriate it is to trust your own family to carry your legacy in your image and not theirs.
