Yep, I have to second sledge's sentiment. I grew up with everything I wanted and could have had more but I've never been interested in much material wealth (I do like money though). Traveling that road, it wasn't hard to figure out that those with little have much more sense than those who have too much. Excess just makes you soft and stupid to the world around you. Never let what others think of you affect your own self esteem. Chances are pretty good they have less than you do and that's what they are trying to hide with all their shiny sh*t.
