    This may not be scrappers at all, but your friendly local gov't picking them up as evidence of they form a case against you. Call it a conspiracy, like I said I dont know your laws, but you may want to be careful just throwing them on the curb...try a dumpster instead.



    And before someone jumps on my back, look at it this way. Sure, throwing them in a dumpster will cause them to smash, but so will the garbage men who put them in the truck...
    wisconsin dnr. they just took a guys truck and trailer down in milwaukee for illegal disposal of freon. i am just out side of oshkosh. we see dnr over here all the time.

    I have it happen around here. I strip the tv or moniter down to the tube and the plastic. I dont cut the metal band around the tube tho. I put the plastic back on it and write empty or gutted on the screen. Guys take them anyway. Im like ok dude, have fun. Eaither they cant read or they think im lying i dont know. Plus my scrap truck is parked in the street next to them, you think they would get the idea.
