I recon that dust is dangerous.
With computers I spray the inside down with a bottle of kitchen cleaner thats had water (50%) and a few drops of detergent and a splash of denatured alcohol in it.
I spray it so everything wet and leave it for a bit. Then I rinse the gunk off after I have removed the parts. It actually balls and falls off, it leaves the boards clean as new.
I have inhaled small bits of this loose dust and I KNOW where its stuck into my lungs, I can feel it.
Since this dust is years of recycled and filtered germs and cigarette smoke condensed into a fine powder. It cannot be good for you.
But a spray with the spray and the problems gone, cleaner boards and safer for everyone.
I dunk the power supplys in a bucket of warmish water with the same kitchen cleaner and stuff in it before I open them.
