The twist on/off spout from a red gas can will screw onto most lawnmower gas tank cap. Put the mower on a table or so and dump the gas into the gas contaner and put in your working lawnmower. I havent bought gas for the mower for 2+ years now.
As for oil, dump it in a drip pan like said and bring to auto store

I think all our auto parts stores are doing the recycle think with the used oil, maybe their getting paid to recycle it. Hmmm
We seem to be getting an over abundance of water in our gasoline. Even to the point of throwing a can of Heet into the tank every other fillup.

    *Facepalm*

Omg, I NEVER even thought of that! how many mowers have I tipped and spilled gas AND oil out of in my scrapping lifetime!!

I learned to put a piece of duct tape over the gas cap holes and removed the engine and then tip out the fluids but I still spill them.

Dang, I can't believe I never thought of this.
