    We ordered the steel dragon tools electric wire stripping machine model sdt wra40r. here is a video link,

    Never used one but it looks good. It will pay for itself in one day.
    Yes tax dollars are paying for these tools, but i have increased the recycling program profits at my job by a very large amount. Much of the extra profit gained was from me learning from this great resource SMF and applying it.

    I googled prices on that thing and it's anywhere from $1600-$2800 + shipping. What are yall scrappin that'll pay for one in a day, and how do they call it "profit" ? ; )

    $1900 included shipping & no tax. Scrapping copper cables, the thick stuff. Been piling it up because i have never really liked scrap yards prices for insulated wire. I get what your saying on the profit part, but thats what it is called for my department and we didnt buy it.

    Well there's no doubt a ton (pardon the pun) of private scrappers who would love to have your problems ; )
