    worked on many trailers like that, an oxy/propane torch would be my tool of choice, even for the aluminum. Yes it just melts thru the aluminum but the wear and tare on your body from the saw or grinder is worth it.

    My experience with a torch and aluminum has not been positive in the past. Could you explain the process you use including the settings. Maybe a video would be valuable.
