It is sad really on coaxial....I too was not aware of the issues with it....I was just tossing it into our wire bin and taking it in with the rest of the coated wire....But my new employee, who has a lot of experience with scrap, told me that it is not copper wire inside....He then stripped a piece and showed me....Our yard has us toss it off with the tin weight when we take in empty computer towers.
