They do not take chain link fence (how are you supposed to recycle it then?? :confused lol

They do not take refrigerators untagged

They will not take whole AC's or dehumidifiers but will if they are broken down.
I'm pretty sure this guys not on here anymore. but since others started this thread back up I thought I would just point out that chain link clogs the shredders used. even if the yard you sell to doesn't shred themselves if they sell to a yard that doesn't take the chain link then they in turn will not take it. What happens is somehow downstream it clings to just about everything. Throw a lot in there and add a leaf spring or two and now you made yourself a net to catch just about every piece of steel trying to get through. since the mills don't shut off immediately even if you do catch it right away it still has a pretty good jam you gotta dig out. If you don't catch it right away you now have a situation where your trying to dig thousands of pounds of metal out of an area you can barely get anything to fit in. and you have to be real careful not to get your self or anyone else buried or stuck in something in the process. Every time we clog ours up I usually have to take a quick half shower in the sink to get all the insulation and fiberglass dust out of my skin otherwise I end up itching the rest of the day. And it takes a certain kind of person to climb into some of the places we have to climb into to unjam the belts. If a yard doesn't have that kind of person on the line that day, getting the thing unjammed is gonna be a way bigger problem.
