Please tell me what yard is paying $3.75 for copper!! Might be worth a road trip!

I heard the market was flooded when the prices went up and the pipeline shutting down. Rotor mountain was completely gone when i went to the yard on 1-30

There might be a couple of things. The Chinese started buying again.

Energy prices took another jump this week at the oil company where i work. Home heating oil & kerosene went up. Gasoline went up. Diesel fuel went up twice. We're expecting prices of 4.50 - 5.00$/gallon for regular gasoline within the next few years. (There's a lot going on right now.)

I'm regularly seeing junk cars on flatbed trailers headed for the scrapyard this winter now that steel prices are up.
