.03/lb has destroyed what little competition I had.
Over the last 2 years I have sold off almost all my "good" steel.... Now I restock
Due to my work I have to go to many businesses and associations weekly, this is where scrap is gathered for me. I just load my truck while on the clock.
That coupled with the fact I am now the sole alternative to dump fees for all contractors in town ( a lot of these guys) and growing up with most of them is an added bonus
Trading and Bartering have been working well for me lately and pose better gains either financially or personally then selling for recycling.
