Dang. I thought cans were pretty high here in the good ole commonwealth of KY but my yard only paying 61 cents. 66 if u have over 100lbs. It takes me about a month to come up with 125-150 lbs. Wonder if I saved them up for a while and shipped them somewhere else ( just a joke). But seriousley there is a large alum recycling place around here pretty close that will come get ur cans if u have at least a ton. They pay top dolllar for them too(and I do mean dollar). Wonder how long it would take and what kind of pile u would have

Yeah, it's nice when you didn't buy the cans in the first place.

My brother is a pretty heavy drinker and my dad always brings home his cans whenever he goes to visit. When he takes the cans down he puts all the money into my nephews college fund. The kid is only 13 and we figure by the time college rolls around he won't need financial aid.

You need to find a different yard if you have a significant amount. It's .50 in Ottawa and .70 @ AIM in Hamilton.

I mainly deal with cars, just starting to venture more into other things but not too interested in cans myself as they would take up too much of the small amount of room I have to work with so I leave them for the guys that always walk around recycling day picking cans... that price was just off the price list that my yard emails me

Hey hobo, what does a case of soda (don't know if that's the lingo in your parts ....or beer) cost in AZ? I'm just wondering if you and your western neighbors are paying more up front on the purchase of UBC's, because I'm also from IN, and . 95 per lb is stupid ridiculous (among other adjectives). For that price, I'd stop every time I seen a can. Lol

Up here in Ontario, a case of 24 is over $30.00. That's why we're such beer pigs when we come down to visit you guys.

not just beer is cheaper, I like Crystal Head Vodka that is made in Newfoundland and costs $120 for a 60oz bottle here in Ontario, but yet in the US you can get it for $90 shipped to your door, dunno what you can get it for in the US at the store
