    I may be mistaken .... but i believe the new magic number for shipping FedEx has been reduced from 70 lbs to 50 lbs. That's the sweet spot where you get your best shipping rates per pound.

    No two scales will weigh exactly the same so best bet is to limit packages to no more than 45 lbs.



    50 lbs isn't exactly light ... but it should be a safe manageable weight for everyone that has to handle the package once it leaves your shop.

    As always ... wear a back brace, lift with your legs & not your back, and do a two person lift whenever possible. The dolly wheeler is your friend !
