    I think I know what you mean. The tiny, paper thin "wire" that is almost like a film is not acceptable.... Ive seen them in printers for sure.

    When I think of "ribbon wire" I think of like IDE wire like




    It is flat and thin like a ribbon. I cut the ends off and keep them in 1 box on these, then put the cable/wire part into a seperate box, so that i have a ton of. The first stuff I dont have any of which is fine since it weighs nothing anyways
