I will not speak for ewasted but E waste prices are determined mainly by the fluctuation of precious metals.......I would suggest using his website as there is often times a live chat program you can ask questions

Live Gold Prices - Gold Price - Silver Prices - Price of Silver and Gold

To add to what Mikeinreco said If I may, Ewasteds prices are very , very good .But as Mikeinreco said he is basing his prices by some formulation of the market pricing for precious metals. But if your timing is bad and he posts a newer , lower ( or higher) price sheet before your pallets hits the dock the current posted price is what he pays you. He usually holds prices pretty stable for some time though . I don't think only one time did he lower the price as my shipment was in transit but hey, it's all good. I cannot give enough praise to his outfit- they are TOP SHELF IMHO. he does not play games with pricing- what you see is what it is, and his grading is always spot on.

Do you pay higher prices for boards that are gold based?
( meaning the metal under the green 'paint' is gold plated, NOT copper or stainless )

    Hi.
We are a solid waste authority in WV, and have been collecting misc electronics for over a year, and our previous buyer retired. We would like for someone to take all 13,000lbs of it, and just leave us our boxes and pallets. We're located at 26147. A bit of everything, and we don't have the time to process it ourselves. We're just trying to keep it out of the landfill.

Thanks. I tried but the graphic has been dim all weekend. I was going to be in the area and wanted to maximize my time. Guess I'll have to ship.

To ship, what are the best weights for shipping boxes of materials? Example: If I have 500 pounds of motherboards, how many boxes and at what weights would be best to ship at for maximum profits?

Oh yes build up a pallet. I used to ship fed ex , sometimes 5 or 6- 65 lb boxes at a time at about average of $23 a box but once I had the volume to ship pallets that is the way to go. So much easier for me
and saves on the shipping too ! I would put them in a gaylord or in large boxes on a pallet- shrink wrap , do the paperwork with Ewasted then ship it. Bada bing, cha ching !

I've recently had the pleasure of taking a trip up to see Mario and meet the crew at the new facility. The fellows there take time to do the job right and the operation is set up to make it work. I had some curiosity to satisfy regarding telecom grades and I got some good advice on that and I also took note of some stuff that I wasn't doing right on other boards. Well worth the drive not only for the money; but also to meet the folks behind the paycheck! Top notch people and a top notch operation!

Prices are at the top of most buyers threads. Before you ask questions that have probably been answered, please do a little reading.
