Can you explain what "Gold Cord ends" are? I have saved any connector that looks gold plated off of everything I scrap. Even phone cords appear to have some gold on the pins in the clear plastic jack connnectors.

I've got some real high end co-ax cable connectors that are gold, 25 pin connectors off computers ribbon cable, etc.

Is there something that belongs/doesn't belong in this class?
