Can you explain what "Gold Cord ends" are? I have saved any connector that looks gold plated off of everything I scrap. Even phone cords appear to have some gold on the pins in the clear plastic jack connnectors.

I've got some real high end co-ax cable connectors that are gold, 25 pin connectors off computers ribbon cable, etc.

Is there something that belongs/doesn't belong in this class?

Those would be gold cord ends. The phone cord ends...I don't like them but the Cat5 ends are ok. All the other ends you said are right. Just to make sure...kick them on over an take a good photo an I can let you know if it looks good or not.
