You say circuit boards are worth 10 cents a pound? I'll have to check into shipping costs to see if it'd be worth it. Never mailed anything bigger than an envelope before. If I filled up a box full of mixed up stuff would you want it? It's stuff out of TV's, radios, phones, etc. Was gonna post it on E-bay when I got a bunch but I'd rather sell it to someone on this forum.

I will have to check into again but I just stack up my low grade until I have around 4,000 pounds or so. Thing with low grade its not worth a whole lot, I dont actively buy it so it kinda sits around here until I have I have a good bit of it. But I will make a phone call later on this week to check on the price.

Circuit boards for .10 lb....Isn't that close to what the yard pays you for mixed scrap? ...I can't see the worth in paying more for shipping, to get less in return.

You can brake them as much as you want as long as I can still grade them from low to high. (don't go smashing up low grade an mix it into your high grade. I do look for this.

I just got back last night from a trip to TX to buy scrap hard drives from "Easy;" and, things went so well that I wanted to write a recommendation for him. I found him to be extremely helpful and pleasant to do business with. I'm looking forward to more trips down there (even though it's almost 200 miles each way); so, I'm really hoping that the numbers work out after I get the drives broken down. Although some folks might be somewhat dismissive to him because of his age, I found him very knowledgeable and to have an amazingly good head on his shoulders for someone of his age. I'll be 59 in March; and, I've "been around the block" enough times to have a well worn path; but, in all that time, there's only a small handful of folks in the group that I'm pleased to add him to. Most folks, of any age, have trouble finding the balance that he's managed to find. It was a real pleasure to do business with him; and, I'd highly recommend him to both buyers and sellers!

Keeping watch on this thread. I am around Fort Worth. Go through lots of laptops due to the nature of my business. If you get into boards, ram, CPUs, etc again send me a PM. Will have a steady supply for you.
