The more I study the connection between disease and diet I find that its very likely that carbs are the culprit. Ancel Keyes and George Mcgovern were the ones most responsible for making natural fat "bad" for us.
Instead of natural fat we've been eating chemical based "vegetable oils" which are most assuredly not natural.
Since my kidney disease was caused by an immune disorder (IgA) and blame it on the Standard American Diet (SAD) I really don't like what these two men did.
I continue to have doctors who don't like my diet even though my diabetes is nearly resolved, a loss of about 75 lbs, all my labs are in the normal range. One exception my A1C was 5.9 the last time I was tested and that is borderline diabetic. After be diagnosed a diabetic 20+ years ago I am proud of my improvements.
I feel much and perhaps all of my conditions and medical trials and tribulations would have not happened had I just eaten as I do now and as many of our forefathers did in the past.
I hope my rant inspires someone to look into the KETO diet or call it LCHF 9(low carb high fat). An easy place to start is on youtube KenDBerryMD is who I recommend to start with. If someone wants to sell you something for KETO walk away you don't need it. 73, Mike
