    Your loss, since they have really good prices.

    Aldi charges for bags to keep food costs down, and to minimize giving out excess bags that'll usually get thrown out.

    The quarter for the cart is a deposit. You get it back when you return the cart to the cart return area.
    That is done to keep from wasting labor on a cart fetcher, and it keeps the number of carts left out in the lot down.
    The rare time a cart is left out in the lot, another customer usually takes it back to the cart return to get the quarter back.




    Any company that wants to be more efficient, needs to take a hard look at the German companies Aldi and Lidl.
