Have You Ever Lost Someone To Gun Violence?

I've always said I would feel safer in a public place if there's a chance of someone present with a CC weapon. I'm much in favor of concealed carry as the constituents are scanned and trained to provide security for themselves and the public in general........unlike criminals. It has already been mentioned that Washington, D.C. and Chicago with their mandatory gun-free declaration see some of the worst gun crime in the USA. One rule of reacting to an opponent is to first disarm him/her. Let's not let the law do that to us. I like the thought that there are thousands of reliable gun carriers amongst us; whether I'm in a mall in a large city, in a small local bank or merely walking down the street. I'm not CC licensed but my son is and as an ex long haul trucker (son), I encouraged it for him. He's teaching his daughter safe weaponry now.
