    i work in power plants,,,,,i do not claim to know everything about them.....i do know that back in the day clinto passed a bunch of regulations for clean air,,,they were all epa governed,,,,i worked for almost 10 years straight on scr scrubber and new smoke stack upgrades,,,,they finished up right before the deadline in 2010.......

    any plant that didnt conform should have been closed in 2010,,,,,all of the ones in my district conformed......



    there are 2 power houses around here that really need closed, they are falling apart and have not been maintained for many years....they are very dangerouse....i hate getting called into them..........

    thats all i know,,,,,i wouldnt worry about them shutting down some plants,,,,im sure any they shut down will be replaced,,,,more than likely they will be replaced before the old ones are shut down
