    Industrial companies here once had entire departments totally dedicated to the purpose of making their products better, many of which sold incredible amounts of their products overseas. Now that most of the industrial giants are overseas, and sell incredible amounts of their products to us, I believe the departments for testing have also shifted, shifted to ones searching for ways to make their products not only cheaper(although not at reduced prices), but also for ways to have their products fall apart faster ; )



    I once presumed when the package stated "for USA" it was due to our higher standards here, but no longer am thinking it has anything to do with higher standards
