Best portale scale for weighing items

I have that scale, and it works well for the price. I only use it to estimate heavier items for shipping. If you are going to be using a scale to be buying from the public, you will need to get a better one and have it certified by your county's weights and measures division.

In this one, the picture says it has 150lb capacity but in the title, it says 330lb....The reviews for it are pretty good though.

Why is it not good enough for the public?

Mine at least is not consistent with weights. I can weigh, pull off the item, and weigh again and it changes. Although, it is not a big difference for shipping, it isn't completely accurate.

I wonder what good it is then, if it isnt accurate.

You got the 360lb one or the 330lb one?

The one i have is a 150lb/max...same manufacturer.

I pulled a deli scale out of a pile of electronics I bought awhile back and use that for weights up to 30lbs. Accurate up to 0.01/lb, but it's old and ugly!

In most states you need to have weights and measure certifie a scale that you use for buying by the lbs,then afer the state certifies the scale they will put a sticker on the scale certifing that the weight is correct..
