Asking questions in a book store

Unfortunately the reality tends to be more along the lines of "give a man a fish he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will expect that you buy him a brand new top of the line pole (with fishing line of course), take over all of the lake so now you can't catch your own fish anymore, then sell you the fish that he got with a 75% mark up on them" I have faith that not everyone is like this though, it would be very sad if they were.
