GOT BACK FROM MY mO IN LAWS HOUSE, i WAS ONLY GONE FOR A COUPLE OF HRS. GOT ON LINE AND MY COMP WENT DOWN SO i WENT OUT TO MY SCRAP SHACK TO GET A SPARE. IN THAT 2 HRS SOME ONE TORE OFF PART OF THE BACK WALL. AND TOOK FIVE WORKING COMPUTERS, A TUB OF MOTHER BOARDS, SOME FINGER CARDS, A TUB OF HEAT SINKS AND A HALF BUCKET OF COPPER. i GUESS THIS MEANS COMPUTER SCRAP HAS MADE THE MAIN STREAM IN THE SCRAP WORLD. THIS IS ABOUT $400 i CANT AFFORD TO LOSE. ANY BUYERS GET ABOUT 60 LB OF BOARDS FROM MY AREA PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THEY ARE ALL hp BOARDS EXCEPT FORE A COUPLE OF dELL AND ONE ibm. bbL GOTTA GO

That sucks Dude! Do you plan on reporting it? Slim chance they get caught but without a report there is no chance at all.

sheriff just left. since we are on the lower end of the scale out here and there are tons of scrappers in my end of the county, his lack of concern or attention to detail or fact dosen't inspire much hope of help from them. he did seem to think they were in a car and not a truck. that narrows down my customer suspects. he also thought there were 2 or more people, this narrows it even farther, I have 2 people in mind, we will do our own investigation like we did last time. this just came at a really really bad time but then I guess there is no good time for thieves.

I may dissapear for a few days my comp is on its last leggs and they took all of my spares.

This just sucks Olddude. I've been ripped of before, not scrap but my tools. A thief is one of the lowest forms of life I can think of, especially one that steals another mans living. Hope you catch the SOB and deal with him / them like I would like to.

Sorry to hear that it really sucks when that happens.A few years ago some idiot kicked our front door in while my wife was home alone but my rotties nearly mauled him to death.That was good though my wife couldnt shoot him with the dogs in the way.

That does suck olddude. It's a bad feeling when you can't kick someone's ass because you don't know who did it. People who steal are the scum of the earth. Its bad when all of your hard work is ripped from you. Don't stop though karma is a ***** and hopefully you get a good score soon.

yep:v all things considered we think we know who it was. I only have 2 customers who deliver in cars and only one of then deals in computer scrap as well as copper.

that sucks, i was broken into a few years ago never really recovered, i worry to about my stuff just laying out and ive had lots of customers buying used tires lately, good luck oldude

we mark all our mother boards with a paint pen it may sound silly but has made it where the cops caught 2 thieving bassturds in the past we now have a more secure storage facility but still mark them. I hope that you have some better luck olddude. I think we have all at one p[oint or another been victims.

That just sucks hard. I HATE thieves as much as the rest of you guys. Words can't explain it when you have been violated by them.

Been on that end myself, tweakers broke into my garage and mobilehome I was using for storage. Took all my guns I had in a gun safe bolted to the back wall. They were my dad's and stepdad's guns. My big torch set w/tanks and about $400. worth of tools and chains. The only good thing was when the sheriff car rolled in they hauled a$$ over the hill and left an old pickup truck in the driveway.

That sucks, I hate theives.
I was sleeping last night and my old lady woke me up, said she heard a noise a couple times coming from outside, my dog wasn't flipping out so I didn't think anything of it, could've been a deer or something. About a hour later, she woke me up again and said there was a vehicle outfront, I grabbed my .44 and went out the door, a 4-wheeler took off when they saw me. Nothing is missing, knock on wood.

I hope you find out who it was and get your stuff back!
