    I decided to put this up instead of PM so everyone can benefit form it.

    NY has an E-waste recycling law that was signed around 2010. Most if not all of it will be in effect by 2015. Manufacturers are required to take back old electronics from individuals and small businesses. Disposal of CRTs in landfills will be banned by 2015. These are just a few of the points in the law.
