    Check your local and state laws regarding retail sale of batteries. If I sell just one battery to the general public, there is a whole different set of laws to follow regarding storage, signage etc, etc.

    People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    I would say that's likely. I know they're watching me to see if I'll slip. Even though I don't sell to Exide anymore and don't get near the quantities I used to, I'm still "Mick's Metal and Battery Recycling" as far as the State DEP and federal EPA are concerned.
