Thank you for this information wdaddy. I have been doing some preliminary info gathering but the person from FedEx told me there was a 150lb limit before the box was considered overweight.

As for shipping you will always get a better price for combining boxes than shipping things separate. I have always considered them as having a base price on shipments whether or not they cost 1 pound or 75 pounds then you pay for the weight. Just for the sake of discussion lets say the base price is 4 bucks and you have 3 packages. Shipped separately you would have 12$ just in the base price to ship a shipment. But if you combined them you only get charged that base price one time. I would like to see a comparison of cents per pound once @ 76 pounds and see how much the premium for going overweight is.

Its the same principle of why a cab ride's first mile is higher than their per mile rate or they charge a flat rate for picking you up them how ever many cents a mile.
