They should have model numbers silk screened on the boards. Most schools had Apple II and later IIgs and should have more then scrap value depending on the model and condition. The boards from a mac II, IIx, IIfx, IIci, IIcx, 840AV, etc are collectable as well.
Its funny 5+ years back when all the schools were dumping IIgs systems nobody wanted them, not they can fetch 100+ each depending on completeness and add-ons.
Anyway any 68K mac chip (Motorolla 68030, 68040) from those boards is generally worth more to collectors then gold scrap.
