Hey Jest, what you have said in that one sentence is the key to the whole thing.
I have taken all the Dale Carnegie courses. I have studied Tom Hopkins with his "How to overcome every objection"
attitude and his method of jiu-jitsu to twist the customer into using your services. In thirty years of selling, do you
know what I have discovered?
People buy from people they know, like and trust.
If they like you, they will buy from you. (Or in this case, give/sell you their scrap.)
Be nice. Be likeable. Be complimentary.
Be helpful! If you can refer business to them, do so! In BNI we say "Giver's Gain."
