Eproms/IC chips

OK here I go, first of all I sell the IC chips (the ones on the left, in the pic) to E-wasted for 5.00#. (I hope he dosen't mind me saying that) I have not sold any of the ones on the right but have been saving them. Now this is my question. Has anyone seen the Eproms that are about 1.5" long and a little bit narrower than the regular IC chip, they have a long glass (or clear plastic) window, some are gold and some are silver? They come out of computer scanners. If you open up the scanner there is a black box that rides along a steel bar, take that black box out and on the front there is a small circuit board take the screws out and on the back side you will find this Eprom. Are they worth more and how much are they worth and who buys them? Thanks for any help with this. I know if e-wasted buys the other ones he might buy these also, I'll check with him.

Its not a Eprom, its the 'CCD scanner' chip.
Its this part anyway> silver, but a good pic of it, same as the gold ones.
I have been saving them up, most are gold & the odd one is silver.
Check out the 'light bar'too, its got a row of LED's & sometimes bare gold wires, or gold wires under soft silicon..
