    I would figure out exactly what you are bringing back and check to see if any of it is considered "hazardous waste" whether it be entering usa or states your travelling through. I know It is illegal for me to take a load of fluorescent bulbs to Ohio for disposal without a hazardous waste placard and a license . At least have everything labeled and a list of each item and quantity. Make it easy for border guards to search. MY .02
