George im pretty sure that the only way to get to the cpu on a laptop is to take it all apart. I wouldnt tackle it unless you know what your doin. I havent been able to take one apart yet without breaking something. maybe someone like ewasteofco could chime in on this.
That is what I was thinking too. Why I don't really deal with them.
