Dont let managers from local stores or goodwills try to bull**** you...these programs are done by dell and sometimes a coalition of other tech companies. Those guys pay for it and not goodwill or best buy......and do not kid yourself that they do it bevuase of the goodness of their hearts or concern for the environment....they get either a huge tax break OR it keeps the govt from hitting them with special fees or laws because they have products that require special recycling. They started these programs to keep teir asses out of the fire. So the next time someone *****es that they wont take a "STRIPPED" tv...tell yhem to refer to the program rules and they they have to take them as they get paid no matter.
