It sucks being screwed over. I would definitely not go back there and I would tell other recyclers and friends about what had happened. However, I would not put a posting in the local newspaper without consulting an attorney first. I could see this going bad. The yard owner could sue you for slander if you are not careful. I could be wrong, just my .02 cents
