    The original '80's boomboxs are worth money to collectors, the big Sanyo's, the one in the Madonna video.



    My 7 speaker Sanyo cost me NZ$300 when I was earning $150 a week, saved for months.

    I have some proper 'contact spray' but professional repairs have a correct spray, they also probably have the 1/8the NP fitting that screws over the potentiometer shaft. (big word, had to look it up first)
    Also, the WD40 won't do the rubber belts much good.

    I used CRC on a friends amp, he was impressed after having to adjust it continuously for the last few years, made a huge difference, everytime someone walked in that day he'd show them, nice amp too. Rotel.
