    Sometimes (1 in 10) you'll find gold pins or gold transistors in the old ones. Recycle the tubes responsibly.



    You still have transformers, coils, (tape covered) and an IC to pull.
    Every now and then I'll find a small mid-grade board soldered to the brown board in a CRT monitor. It's usually around the size of a credit card.
