My house sets about 1000 ft from the interstate and is one of the first houses that can be seen. Over the last 22 years many people who were broken down and were walking to the next exit ended up on my front porch seeking help. Depending on the situation most have been greeted with a smile, welcomed into my house and allowed to use my phone. A few have been met with a smile and a 12 guage, handed a phone and asked to leave it on the porch when they got through with it. One night a 2am a drunk man was banging on the door screaming wanting to use the GD phone. He got a 12 guage stuck in his face and was told to leave. He then went next door to my neighbors house and got a 357 stuck in his face. I guess what I'm trying to say is you have to be carefull when you go knocking on a strangers door or opening a door for a stranger.
